Pics of my "restored" 1987 Honda Big Red 250ES (Hondaline edition)

I picked up this Big Red a few months ago, and have done a light restore on it....mainly just some elbow grease and such to get it looking like new again. The only thing I repainted were the front and rear racks along with the front basket. I put a new spark plug and Honda air filter and gave the battery a fresh charge. She purrs like a kitten and runs/drives like new. The guy I bought it from used it on his farm to haul stuff, it probably never got past 3rd gear. I've added the following Hondaline parts to it since I've had it: tripmeter kit, rubber steps, front basket, worklight, and headlight grille. The only other accessory I have left to get for it is the rear mudflap set with the exhaust tip deflector. Here are the pics Click image for larger version.

Yeah I have contemplated doing that, but I'd be worried that more than thick sticker may come off if I try...This is the first Big Red that I've seen with 3 warning stickers on the tank...most of them have just the center one. The original owner bought this bike in the spring of '87 so the dealer must have been required to put those other 2 stickers on the tank because of the CSPC rulings that just occured at the time.

definately a very nice big red. I agree with 007, those white warning labels gotta go. they should come off easy with a heat gun. those decals were mailed to owners of atc's who were on record at dealerships. i have a few that came in bundles of paperwork with some atc's i have bought in the past. those manual holders are rare!!

I'll have to try removing them with a heat gun, hopefully they'll come ok.
