Im not going to try it on my Big Red again after my epic fail last year! That sucked and I was sore for a week! I had to try it though.

I got to give props to anyone who attempts the backbone.... That hill is knarly, and i'm the first to admit i aint got the stones to even think about it for a multitude of reasons, regardless of the path that's chosen. Three years ago i carefully made my way to the bottom of the backbone through the rocky creek bed and looked up, shook my head and got the hell out of there.

anyone have any other pics of the backbone? Im finally coming to Trikefest this year and the backbone has me excited! So far I'm coming with my 2 buddies who ride banshee's. I'll have my tri-z and a dirtbike. Can't wait!!

this video shows it pretty good I think, I see what you guys mean, I think the hardest part for the trike is all those big rocks, I think its do-able, just stay on the gas and clutch. I'm not very experianced on a trike, so I guess if you end up stalling or something you just jump off really quick and try to get turned around??? lol, I don't know what I'd do if my pretty tri-z rolled down that ..

That vid seems to look very small length wise compared to what i remember it being. I did have a couple anheiser sody pops that day though.

BINGO! last year there wasn't anyone going to get to the top on a big trike. if i was to bet i would say it will be the same way this year. get the ATC 70s ready because i am also betting that is all that will go up it this year.

I hear ya man. You had a rough year last year too if I remember right. I have a boy 6 months old that is having a lung removed in early June but I am going to do everything to make it.
