My big red sputters a little when ever I let off the gas after holding it for a few seconds. It's not very loud but it still sputters, i've heard that running lean causes that. How do I fix this problem?

Check your carb settings and also check the exhaust for any cracks/breaks, when I fixed the crack in my exhaust it stopped backfiring nearly as much as it did.

only time mine backfires is when i kill it then about 2secs later it will pop one time thats it..........is that from loading up?
