Nope, never heard of them on the red 85 350X.
My 86 white OEM 350X rear does have the warning stamped in it. I only store it, to sell it.
I'll just break the damn thing....... By then Jeswhinehart will be making them for us![]()

I believe all the 86 fenders had that embossed label.

Those would be the later replacements, they are not as rare as the originals since they were made from 86 until whenever they stopped production, whereas the ones without the warning were made during the original 85 production run. The good thing is if you have the warning you could sand them down and re-polish it to remove it if you were so inclined.
There is 2 different shades of red on the 85 also. I would call them, orange/red,, and cherry/red. I will post a pic... I am using a new laptop I got myself for xmas,, give me a minute to figure it out..........
New computers are a pain in the butt,, but here is one pic,, maybe.
Here is the difference in colors. The one I am holding is gen1 and the one on the showbike is gen2. The gen2 plastic has been on the bike stored in A/C shed.
^^^ those r awesome, but that show bike should have am OEM seat cover. that would be really nice.

I have the OEM seat, but that bike deserves the flame seat,, she is fast.
That is the first NOS red 85 350X I have seen, wow nice! I don't blame you for hanging on to it , it's worth what a collector is willing to pay. I have seen the shasta white 86 fetch for 1500
Still looking to trade for NOS 250R plastic.
