How much is it worth?

Hello, I am a new member. My family has had trikes for a long time and I am finally going to buy my own. I'm looking at a 1981 atc 250r. The owner is a friend of my dad and the three wheeler has not been ridden in 10 years. I am looking for a rider and it is in pretty nice shape ( ridden not abused) it needs two rear tires the tank drained, the carb cleaned and brakes bled. The plastics , tank and seat are in good shape. It also has a speedometer and a twist throttle, he put in a different primary so it is geared lower and a heavy duty spring in the rear. Does any one have a good idea of what it is worth? I was thinking around $250

There is a guy asking for a Honda speedo near me right now willing to pay $300 just for that!! $250 for the entire bike?? Rock it!!!

if you can get it for 250$ get it. It is worth about twice that amount if not more in most areas

250 is a steal. if you can get it for 500 it still sounds like a good deal. and yeah, take that speedo off put it on ebay and you will get the trike for free lol.

Well he didn't sound too thrilled about the $250 offer, I think I'm going back next weekend and I think I'll offer him more and see what he says ��

That's why I refuse to price other people's stuff. I always demand an asking price. That way I'm not offending anyone or wasting a drive to go look at something over priced.

gotta be worth at least 500$ if you can get it I would take the speedo of and save it ,so it dont get broken , or ebay it get you trike for half price or buy the new tires it needs ,would go ahead and change all 3 .. good luck
