Well the other day with the winter 'storm' we had i was pushing some snow drifts onto the lawn to make room for more and i snapped the bolt that holds the plow blade position. lol i guess i did a good job. The other day Plow chains def would have been nice as the snow was VERY wet but we managed. Yesterday the snow was nothing but powder and i was just puttin' along

Put my plow set up on my 86 Saturday. Worked great!
KbOnly I just use a long bolt to hold mine in position tight. I have a larger blade with 5 points. I usually just use the same position.

Looking great oldtime! I have one question about the blade on these set ups. There is a large bolt and nut - 23 mm i believe - that holds the plow blade onto the frame. Is there supposed to be a lock washer on this since the nut keeps loosening up and the plow 'saggs' in the frame so to speak. If need be i can get a picture.

I don't have one on mine, but wouldn't hurt to use one.

Mine had a large carriage bolt in it when i got it, i went back to a hitch pin so i can swing it side to side as i am using it in various positions depending on who's driveway i am plowing out. I have been thinking of motorizing it with some linear actuators.

Mine is original, and it has a nylon lock nut on it
