200x project

hi everyone..just signed up and love the site!!
im tearing apart my 200x for a winter project. i have a few questions i was hoping you could help me with.
i believe its a 83 model,it has a round swingarm,are they interchangable with the 84 square style? the front fork tubes have a deep scratch in them..can you buy them new somewhere or do i need to search ebay for good used ones? any other parts that are interchangable with 250r's or 350x's ?

welcome to the site. the swing early (round swingarm) will interchange with the later 84 85 swinger. but you will need the dog bone connector as well. ebay or the classifieds here are the best place to buy parts. as far as i know the rear shock will not interchange with any other model. 250r front forks will interchange but you will have to bore the triples out to accept them.

i have a good set of well used 200x forks and an 84-85 swing arm with good brgs front and back plus the dog bone connector if you are interested pm me for pics and prices
