Im looking into possibly getting a different/ larger carb for my 85 r, as mentioned in my other thread about jetting, as my current carb may be my culprit of problems. Now i have found a pj series 38mm carb for a cr250r. would this fit into my intake on my r right now? and if it does, what mods would i need to do to the new carb to make sure it runs properly on my 250r? what kind of jetting issues would i have being as i would be jumping from a 34mm to a 38? would i need to lean the 38mm carb out? i dont know what all would be needed here. i do know my tecate has a aftermarket 38mm flat side on it, and it runs like a freaking champ, and was hoping my 85r would be the same. any info would be greatly appreciated here
