2 thumbs up. Nice progress kiddo!
Here's what I got done today. I still need to put the big axle nuts on and get a couple washers for the hubs, but other than that the rear axle is 99% completed.
I'm still thinking about those mojave pegs too...![]()
Looks good. Are those 13 spline hubs? Or 24 spline? Only have seen them in 13 spline so far...but that looks like a stock axle.

haven't counted the splines but they are the skinny ones, so i'm guessing 24
here's how the frame is looking. I've not been looking forward to the work ahead of me as it involves a lot of polishing.

Cool! Its looking a lot like this 500 I've been trying to get my hands on for a long time.
I hope I can get it this summer. It has a stretched CALFAB too. I need a 500 lol

bada$$! it looks like it could use your magic touch too...
That looks nice. Is that rear shock a stock rebuild? If it is you did a good job it looks like new.
Thanks. It had a leaky hose that I replaced but the seal head was good, so I just cleaned it all and put in new oil. I polished the shock body and reservoir, then had the spring powder coated. When I got it, it had a White Bros. Suspension decal on it (that I would like to get reproduced). Other than the spring it looks like the oem shock I have. I'm think White Bros. probably added that spring and revalved the shock.
here's my best attept at recreating the decal:

The latest progress. I finished polishing the top triple tonight. First thing I did was removed all those nasty casting marks. 6 hours later (because I'm slow) this:
