    Check out my new 2502x

Hey Dogs, you got to check out my new bike.
The guy I got it from said it's totally hooked up for racing, like he use to do 100' double jumps and knack knacks on it all the time. He told me it was a 95 model and has a ton of work into it. The motor is so worked, the compression's so high on it, it won't even kick over, no really so much compression the kicker wont budge at all. You know it's legit cause you can't even move the thumb throttle. The bearings in back must be new also cause they are tight, so tight the rear wheels won't move at all. It was a bear getting her home but I was able to do it with some help. You know the guy paid attention to details, It has any parts that may cause drag has this Teflon like coating on them, just check it out, it's that brownish looking coating you see on all the parts. And the plastics got this scientifically proven drag reducing work over it, just check out that quality stitching job, bet that setup is aftermarket. The fella also did everything he could to reduce weight also. Like he took off the positive cable off, must have weighed a lot cause the rest of the starting system is there, taking the rest off must not have been worth the extra work for the weight savings. The grips, they weighed so much that there gone, but it's got some strategic tape to help you hold on to this wheelie monster. Also the tire pressure was put low, you know every pound of air not in the tire is a pound less of un-sprung weight on the bike. The headlamp has a free floating design he came up with, he said it helps follow the trail better at night. Oh yea the trans is worked, see that shifter, yea it goes up and down all the way no problem, and its smooth, like butta, cant even feel the shift, for real it's like its just free moving.
So let me know how much of a good deal I Got, remember don't be hating on it

Why would you buy that lol? There (in my opinion) is nothing that you can do realistically to get it going again. As in more time tooling with it than it is worth by far. How much anyhow?

By the way that post is hilarious.

Glad you have a sense of humor!

I can't see paying more than 50$ for that thing.

Too bad they ruined the rear end running it open and also the headlight or it may have something good on it. Who knows, maybe it will run like a top......

No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

    Glad people enjoyed it,

Actually had it for a while now, We got the engine free last week, seems everything froze up sometime in the last month, except for the rear end everything was free and moving when I got it, still not sure if it was the kicker or in the cylinder that stuck. Spent a few hours with her today to see what I was really looking at. Despite how she looks, It was really was not that bad, I was really surprised how easy she came apart. With two exceptions most of the bolts came free easily. Broke the carb free by accident, it was just a little corrosion on the needle. The engine came out without too big of a problem, and it was the brake drum that was frozen. Amazingly the exhaust sections came apart, I thought that it was seized together like on every other bike i ever had, sprayed some sea foam on it at the beginning and was later trying to figure how to work it out when it just fell apart. The diff came off and moves, I was thinking that it would be the death toll for the bike. I was able to break the drum free so the axle spins now. I haven't gotten the drum off yet though, figured I would look into how it mounts before I got stupid. I did break one bolt - the one on the kick start, and know i need a boot and brake cable, probably a little wiring, and the lever for the choke to start. Still not sure on spark, but who knows she may run with some work. Really encouraging so far.
Going into it I thought It was parts, but now I'm thinking it's scoungable, it's almost like the bike want's to run again. Besides I've made worse work with less. Right now plans are to get her apart, clean everything up (no really clean it- it's filthy, as in 1/4 inch of grime on some parts), then put her together when it gets warmer with some seals, lube, and the min physically needed to do it in a weekend.
If she looks promising at that point I'll go further with her, if not it would be a good project for someone else.
Cost to get her? Ill have to do a clutch in a 200x for my friend. Fibers defiantly, not sure on the steels. I'm not sure on the year of the 200x but I figure it's not too much (seen disk kits new for less than $40), figure I'll do him good and fix it the right way.
Hell I fixed his bike and put money into it before for free, I'll be getting a bike out of it this time.

What kind of pipe is that?

Sorry, pretty sure it's one of those rare Flying Machine Factory cheater pipes that were made back in the day to look like just a stock pipe.

    .................................................. ................

I stand corrected, Just looked up a stock pipe and it's totally different. Best guess is it's some type of Cobra pipe since it seems identical to the Cobra pipe on my ATC 185s and 250s quad sport.
If anybody had a better guess let me know.

Hope you can save her. Looked like a parts rig, but maybe you can work some magic and have a rider.

What kind of shape is the gas tank in?
