    85 250SX CDI wiring HELP!

Okay I am new but I have searched all the wiring help threads I can. Still need help. Found a 1985Honda 250SX. Damn near mint but wouldn't start. I found someone had CUT the CDI pigtail off!..so I have a perfect bike with six wires hanging preventing it from starting. I need to know which h wires go to which pin on the round connecter. Found a CDI box and a round six pin connected for it but don't know where they go. Manual is not that detailed and Honda can't find it...someone please help!

off the http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...0-Service-Data thread. Theres a plug with 6 pins, that sound like it's been cut off along with the other half of the connector. If you can rig each wire up to its partner and before trying to fully start the trike, measure each wires specific 'ohms' with a volt meter, And try get each wire close to what the diagram specifies, and try start it. If it starts then get a 6-pin plug and do a real good proper job on connecting each wire to a secure plug.

If you have wired a aftermarket radio/stereo to your car then this should be no problem. Also, Check the Fuse to see if it's blown It's beside the battery.
I hope that makes sense. Good luck.

Edit: Just properly read your post. Can you please take a photo of the loom? (The pgitail + the box it runs off, also any other wires near the plug which look to be cut.) There's from what i understand good ol'mate fix'er'up'er'er and then theres bad ol'mate couple'o'2'snips'too'many'will'work...

This is amazing....thenk you sir. I looked but I guess I didn't dig enough. I will post a pic tonight of the cut off wiring. I have a 6 pin connector from an old 200X so I got that covered. I'm heading down to Fresno today to buy the right CDI box from APF Motorcycle salvage for $40. Thanks so much for the help!
