I like "runs great, but no pullstart. So it cant be started right now". "Its very rare" no matter what the condition. "Its a 1989 model". "It has race fenders" but they are actually just cracked and broken fenders lol.
They argue when you correct them, but they dont even know the model they are selling.

When you see a beat Honda 110 listed for $1000 and the ad says I know what these are worth so no low-ball offers

    Also

Will trade for guns or XBox

Yes it does, however you are forgetting another Craigslist classic. "The pic isn't a pic of my bike, but it looks just like it." Sure it does.

Funny thing is, it's an 84 ES, and I would give him $400 for it.........pretty good shape.

that ES is very clean looking, and for 400, its worth buying a "NOS" carb..lol

my favorite is " ran great, I decided to restore it and don't have the time" what they should say is I screwed it up, tore it apart, and have no idea what im doing.

or on some of these new bigger track quads, I saw a predator ad for a 2004 500 predator. decent shape for a 2004, but by no means mint. he tore up the head on it, tore it off, and has a picture posted of what looks like it sitting in the rain with no head on it....still asking 3k for it..lol "all it needs is a head, can find on ebay for 25.00" these things cost a fortune to repair...i know this well for the predators, I owned one.

The kid I got my atc70 from stated, "Ran great before the pull starter broke" So he threw the housing away...Also, he said, "all it needs is tires".
Go look at my buildup in the link below and you will see, it needed more than just tires.

why is saying something is "Very Clean" supposed to impress someone? I don't get it. One of my person bikes was sold to me as "very clean". Upon arriving for pickup I immediately spotted leaks and other miscellaneous mechanical problems which have nothing to do with cleanliness.
