looking for final drive gear for 1985 Honda 250sx

Hey, new to the sight, wondering if anyone can help me find the large final drive gear for the rear end of a 1985 Honda 250sx. i've looked all over and i'm having trouble finding any new or used.

hi, do you mean the ring gear in the rear pumpkin ?

yes the final drive ring gear at the rear axle, the splines are stripped from the axle and the inside of the gear.

There was a CL ad in New Hampshire for a pile of 1985 250sx parts including rear gears. PostingID: 2758882500, might be worth a call?

i am located in pa and i know a guy that has a junkyard of trikes.... i may be able to get a hold of him and have him ship you one if you would be interested

ya that would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know how much he would want for one of them.

here is the address and number... he sells stuff on ebay also so give him a call and see if he may ship it or even has one.... i know he has a gas tank and other various parts for an 85 250sx.... if he will not ship or whatever let me know and i may be able to go up there and rip the whole pumpkin out or just the splines and ship it to you... but you will just have to pay for my gas t go up there.. its about 45 minutes both ways with no traffic... or check out ring pinion.com if ya want a new one
