ID:	139392Went riding today with a couple of buddies, one had a 250 Honda 4 wheeler and the other had a Polaris UTV. It's amazing how big the UTV is compared to my Big Red, especially since at one time, the Big Red was one of the largest available ATV's you could buy. The guy with the UTV couldn't keep up with us on the narrow trails though

cool, that is funny to see how big that thing is compared to your red. About a mounth ago went ridding with the guys fron local Kawasaki, Polaris, and Can am shop and back in the day when you showed up with a 350X you were the big bike of the group not anymore with Polaris and Can Am 800s and UTV,s as big as 900 and 1000.

The UTV is way too big IMO and these days most utility ATV's are humungus. Back in the day the 200cc 250cc was the norm and pleanty off power for the average joe. I wish Honda would atleast produce a new retro TRX250R using the 80's look of the plastics & decals with it's famous 250cc engine with an upgrade or two. Now that would be sweeeeeeet!

EXACLTY! I have been seeing more of those UTV's, buggies, side by sides, or whatever they call em.... I would sooner buy a Jeep than one of those things... If I'm going to run something THAT big and has a steering wheel, I want a 5 speed!

But yes, Patblkwell, the times, they are a changin'... I'm not real happy Honda has revived the Big Red name and didn't at least put in on a quad....

Yeah riding in a UTV is nothing like riding a ATC/ATV, there's just something about holding on to handlebars when you ride..

now some kind of a s.u.v. Now big red....whats next? why not come up with a new name? If you google that stuff your looking at minivans and
    dorky suvs.
