    125m top end on a 110?

I have an 83' 110, I need more power out of it! Is it possible to use a 125m top end on a 110? Or even just use the 125m piston and bore out the 110 cylinder? What mm is the 125 piston? If anyone can shed some light on the it would be appreciated!

    -Thanks!

Both are completely different animals and will not interchange , also the 110 motor has way bigger ports and better head flow than a 125m anyway so you would be going backwards if it was even possible . If you want a 125cc motor pm me I have big bore kits for you little 110 .

I wonder if the 125 piston would have a similar pin heidth, or pin size as a 110 piston. If I could make a 125m piston work, and use the 110 head..hmmm the 110 head will have a smaller combustion chanber which would give it more compression right? I would rather use a production piston out of a 125, as opposed to a kit that nobody makes anymore. Ill do some more research!

also im pretty sure you would want to raise compression to increase power depepnding on your set up... i know as far as a naturally aspirated motor works... if you have a 2.2l motor and you slap some 2.0 or 1.8 heads on there you will raise compression and iin turn generate more power with the right supporting mods... you will lose power if you go the other way... unless you are turbo than its a hole nother animal... but if you want to do anything i agree that those motor are not interchangable and you will need a special big bore kit for your 110cc motor... good luck with it all

it has been a while for me to play with these engines but i think the stroke is longer for the 125 so very likely the pin location will not be the same either. if you want more power i think you will have to do it with 110 performance parts and not adapt others to it.
