    Possibility of Lowerin a 200x

i love the way race trikes sit, real low in the back and the small tires... is there a direct fit rear shock i can use on my '86 200x to lower it? if not, is there somethin i can do to the stock shock/spring to lower it?

I think the look you're looking for isn't necessarily made with lowering of the shock. I think you want to widen your trike and put smaller tires on it. You're probably going to want 18's, but then you'll have to change your gearing. Also, with the 18's it's a lot harder getting through the rough stuff.

For widening you can either get an aftermarket axle (expensive) or get wheel spacers or different hubs (cheaper and just as effective).

the only thing ive heard of doin other than this is releasing the tension on the spring but movin the nuts above the sprign, around the shock. might this help?...... im lookin at some 20'' tires right now, and saw some 1.5'' spacers
