Question Storing a 3wheeler standing up on its grab bar

What are your opinions on storing a trike on its grab bar? Is it better to drain the oil out of it before? Would it be better to leave the oil in it and take it down every few weeks and kick it over or run the motor? Just needing more room for storage(more trikes) and not wanting a good engine to go to crap. I have fears of rings sticking and valve seals drying out from lack of oil. Is that even possible?

I just drain the gas from the bowl and stand it up. Topping off the tank to prevent corrosion is nice but too much will drain out the tank vent hole.

I'd never drain the oil. This is short-term, no more than 6 months or I'd be kicking them over.

Besides, I ride in the winter if we get snow......

Thanks for the info. I usually drain my carbs anyway if I'm gonna let them sit for more then a week or two anyways. I have 5 atvs to keep track of now but really wanting another 2 stroke so just looking for the space to store it. I just wondered about oil running up out of the crank vents. Would that happen even if it has the right oil level? Theres a local used atv dealer near me and I went in the back one time and they have atvs standing up with oil pouring out of a few. I'm not looking to store one like this for much longer the a few weeks with out running it. Oh yeah and I too am waiting for tomorrow to ride some snow on the wheelers!
