    Getting back into it

    Hey everyone,

Been a member here a very long time. Haven't had a three wheeler for a while now but decided to get back into them.

I bought a 1983 185s project a couple weeks ago, it's going well. It's getting a complete tear-down. More on that in a later post. As were all aware, they tend to multiple quickly. I just picked up a 1981 185s and a I think a 1983 200e. Both run pretty good. The Big Red smokes a little on start-up. The brakes all work, all plastics crack free. Also included in the deal were ton's of parts from 2 200e's, and another 185s, plus a spare set of almost new tires.

Not sure what I'm going to do with them. The Bigred has a new seat on the way. The 185s will get a metal tank, and the rack removed. Not sure what else. The I just pulled my 5x9 trailer around the yard with the Bigred, I was surprised how easy it did so.

I traded a Mossberg Shotgun, and two pistols for them.

It's amazing how much fun it can be to bring a bike back to A1 running condition. Looks like you have a good base to start from. At least with Honda's it looks like parts are more plentifull. Good luck

cool to see your stepping back into the game! got some nice starts there! the 200e has an 82 tank, and if the decals on the rear of the plastic are blk/rd its prob an 82. the 82-83 chain drive dual range tranny big reds are the best pullers in my opinion!! Really is a little workhorse!
