1984 honda 200s eatting plugs and wont start

ok so my 1984 200s sat for a few months... so i cleaned the card etc and fired it up. everything was fine until i tryed to start it today and it was running rough, the pull start cord broke so i tryed and bump started it, it was running more rough so i chaned the plug and now it wasnt even starting. i took off the cdi pulser cover to find a few peices of metal broken off. so i took off the pulse generator and forgot what position it was in. does anyone know where it goes it only turns a few cm back an forth. thanks! (it runs really rough until you have the thing pinned) maybe its the stator coil?

Can you post pics of the pieces? Maybe I or someone else can figure out what broke if we can see the pieces?
