    Free 1984 ATC125M!!

    Got a call yesterday that it was next to a dumpster - you guys will all cry when you see it! I'll get some pics up tonite, they must have thrown rocks at it or hit it with a sledge - not much left that very good but I'll trade or get something for it. I had to go dumpster diving for the motor and footpegs!! Found another engine with it for I don't know what?? Here's the worse part - It WAS all original with chrome guards and racks and even had a HONDA OEM SPEEDOMETER - All smashed to pieces :evil: Dam kids!!!!!

    i remember i was a kid once. burning my dads old foot tall G.I. joes, smashing all of my star wars stuff. driving my dukes of hazard vehicles off cliffs, trading all my football and baseball cards 4 weed when i thought that it would get me somewhere in life. but i always think about things now, if you see a barbie doll laying in the street pick it up you might have your retirement in your hands. i could have been rich, but i was young and stupid and didnt think about the future.

    That's a shame about the speedometer. Great deal, but a shame it was beat up.

    Yeah!! Once I saw 2 complete motors in there I had to go in - it wasn't pretty!! Within 10 minutes of that phone call I had all of it it my grimmy little hands.

    I welcome any 1985 ATC250R parts trades - I hate asking for "make me an offer" and also hate posting prices - it just never seems to work out. Everything I put on EBAY starts at 9.99so I'll post when it all goes up - soon.

    Yeah, 922 miles, but how long has the cable been disconnected?? I bought an old streetbike one time that had 1,431 miles registered on the speedo. I was thinking Yes!! great find, didn't even bother to check the cable and when I got home, sure enough no cable to be found and the threads where it screws in at had some heavy rust. :shock: BTW, that bike is still waiting to be brought back to life.
