New to the board
Hey guys ..... I am restoring an 85 250R trike. I am a little unsure as to EXACTLY what the rear OEM fender looked like from the factory for the 85. Does it have the raised embossed warning label behind the seat like the 86 did? Or does it have a decal there instead? Exactly which decals are on the the rear OEM fender? Any help would be appreciated, and even a pic or two as well! Thanks .... Mark

85 did not have the raised embossed warning on it, only the sticker instead.

Here is a pic of the two fenders, stolen from Aldochina's recent 250r acquisition.
85-note the sticker behind the seat and on the left side obscured by the clutch lever is the chain adjustment decal.
86-embossed warning behind the seat, and decal on the left side of the fender for tire pressure.
Both fenders should have the black number plate inserts, and an ATC250R decal on the back edge of the fender, check ebay for the difference between those decals. There is another version of the rear fender with embossing behind the seat like the 86 and the tire pressure decal is also embossed not a decal. So there may have been some cross over from the 85 to 86. But all of the OEM replacements I have taken from Honda bags had the embossed warning and the tire pressure decal.
