Help 85 250r Wont Start all the Sudden..

Ok so here is the story, bought this bike a couple weeks ago. Ran awesome took it out riding all day. Came home put it in the garage. next day washed the bike and put it away till the following weekend. Took the bike out 2nd kick fired right up loaded it in my truck and drove 1.5 hours to go riding. Offload the bike and nothing. Everytime i kick it wont do anything. Had a guy pull me around to try and pop start but nothing a few back fires and sputters but wont run.
Put a new plug in, checked the carb, checked the compression, checked all the wiring. I am stumped.

    Any Ideas?

Its getting fuel, but it doesnt seem to be getting spark.

Pull the stator cover, blow out any water that might be in there. Clean the raised rib on the flywheel with some fine steel wool until its nice and shiny, make sure there are no metal flakes stuck to the magnet on the ignition pickup and see what it does. HH

Thanks for the advice.. Took the cover off it was wet and had water built up. Then i noticed the bolt had backed out on the stator allowing it wiggle around taking Gouges out of my Flywheel..
So i cleaned everything up and ordered a light weight flywheel to put in. We'll see what happens on monday when i get the flywheel in..
