    200x cam question

    2 questions on a 1984 200x

    1. Is it the same cam as a 200s. ??

    2. Can you remove the cam with out taking the valve cover off ?

    Not the same cam, and yes you can remove it without dis-assembling the top end. Just be careful not to drop the cam chain in the hole.

    NOT same cam BUT if you use 200x cam bearing it will work. since 200x cam is better than 200s it will give u boost in performance

    What they said! Hold the cam chain up with a screwdriver while you are taking the cam out. Then if you put a big enough zip tie around the chain it will keep it from falling down to the flywheel.
