iI bought this 1986 350X at a local Salvage Yard ... It was covered in MUD and was about to be CRUSHED with that big claw thing ... I paid $150.00 for it ... They actually charged me .30 cents a pound for it . I cleaned the carburetor ... installed a new plug ... starts on 1-2 kicks when cold and 1 kick when hot ... Runs .. good no smoke or leaks ... needs a front tire and rear fenders and seat. I think it was a decent score !!!

Wow! What's wrong with some people? I would say that's the score of the day. It looks like it has a good tank and original front fender? if thats the case I would guess those two parts alone to be worth 2 or 3 times what you gave for the whole thing.

score is an understatement!!! thats just crazy! you wonder how something like that ends up in the junkyard to begin with. you can't blame the junk guys, they can't inspect everything that comes in. but who sent it to junk in the first place?????

I may have committed a party foul by stopping at the spray car wash with my last farm score 250es.
It had 4 inches of pine needles and ferns growing from it and I was told,
in no uncertain terms, that it is
customary to take pix in their worst possible shape.
I guess you can always get it muddy again.
On a more serious note, what size are those rear tires?
I have some unmounted 18x11x8's that I've been told would not be good
on a 350. but I really wanna try them.
