i got a 1982 hona atc 185s what is the good things about them and the bad and compared to my 1985 honda sx whats the big difrents in problems with them and i havent whent and got my 185 yet is it shaft or chain driven? please help asap

185s is chain driven. Pull start, no suspension, no reverse.
250sx has electric and kick start, shaft drive, fully suspended, reverse.

i was told the 185 is faster is that true?

it may seem faster when riding it because it is so small, but when it comes to actual speed. i HIGHLY doubt a stock one is faster. the 250 has 65cc more then a 185

250sx is geared a bit on the low side... With factory size rear rubber, should be good for about 50mph in my estimation... 185s wouldn't be too far behind.
