What are some of the best riding places East of the Mississippi, especially if they have a good quantity of sand?

Trails Heaven Wv!! Here in WV we have Hatfield-McCoy Trails and it is pure heaven. I live about 15 mins from the Coal River trail head but there are 3 other trail head locations along the southern part of the state. If your ever coming up this way to ride you have to swing by, Bear Wollow is the best trail head and the city cops allow you to ride around to get gas, drive thru Mcdonalds, whatever as long as your not being stupid. Best place that I have had the pleasure to ride. NC also has some really nice riding but I have only read about it. Have fun.
