1985 Honda 250 Big Red Speedometer Cable

After trying for many months, I finally got my speedometer up & running. I found the cable in a Gear box set for a TRX 300 FX. The kit cost me all of $20.00 on Ebay. The instructions says the cable part number is 08175-HC500-04. The cable is maybe an inch longer than the original but works great. Just thought I'd save someone else the Trial & Error I went thru. I don't know if you can get just the cable but for $20.00 it's worth it. The whole Gear Box Set # is 08175-HC500 and states the application is for a TRX300FW 4X4.

Thanks for that. Wonder if the 2wd one will work? I reckon would be the same?

2wd one is too long but a Honda ct110 cable will work and is an inch and a bit longer.
