I don't have a 250r motor, but i do have a 250es frame. I am not sure about how similar the 250r frames are to the big red 250es frames, or if it's even possible to fit a 250r motor on the big red frame. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Ok I am pretty sure it won't work. Its totally different motors the "es" is drive shaft for one thing lol
Do you know what a 250r is? It is a chain drive 2 stroke. Will the motor fit in a Big Red frame, sure but that's all it's going to do since the big red is shaft drive.
I do know that a 250r is a chain drive two stroke. I should have asked this another way. I know a new swing arm and axel would be needed, but is it possible to convert a big red into a 250R.
Not without EXTENSIVE modification.. In other words, you would be much farther ahead to get a 250r frame and build it up that way if you want a 250r. If you want to get the BR going, find a BR engine or even a 250sx engine....
The 250r and BR couldn't be more different from each other. About the only thing they have in common is the fact they are both Honda trikes... and that's about it. Literally trying to get a square peg to fit in a round hole..
It would be easier to bolt a Big Block Chevy into a street bike frame than to make a 250r engine work in a Big Red.
