85 vs. 86 250R Headlight Assembly

What differences are there in the Headlight assembly on an '85 vs. an '86 ATC 250R?

I'm looking for the whole assembly for my '85 and found a very nice original on ebay, from an '86......would I have any issues installing it?

I don't think there will be any issues using the '86 headlight assembly. Mounting should be the same as the front ends are the same between the 2. The headlight bulb plug may be different though, but not 100% positive..

'85 headlight looks MUCH better IMHO and I would try and get the '85 setup if you can.

The 86 glass is larger, (imo looks better) but mounting and plug are the same, you just cat miss and match plastic and glass housing bulb is even the same
