    New from Southern California

Hey everyone. A couple months ago I joined the 3 wheeler crowd when I bought a 1985 Honda 350X! I have been on bikes for 14 year, tried my hand with a 450 Honda quad, it was nice but just didn't do it for me at the time. Got back on bikes for a while, and finally decided to get myself a trike in addition to my bike.

Found this locally on CL and ended up taking it home for $980, which I thought was a steal. Second owner, had owned it since it was 2 years old. Couple dents and dings but I could live with that, after all I bought it to ride! Got it with paddles and knobbies(all knobbies are stock tires!), a Supertrapp muffler, rear rack, it even still has the rear mudflap.

Sorry for the bad pic, this is my trailer loading up before my last desert trip. My KTM 520, my 350X, and my girlfriend's 250ex.

Thanks man! The 520 is definitely something else! Its my go to for cross country stuff and shooting hills, but the trike is way more fun for cruising in the sand.

    welcome to 3ww
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check Made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Ya that 520 would do me some good at jawbone canyon! I love the hills there the 450 just doesnt have enough grunt to get up the steep sandy ones. Thats when my dream comes into play of a CR 500 AF streched! Still waiting on lottery... haha

I've never been on a 450 bike, but the 520 definitely has grunt! The area I usually ride has a pretty big steep sand hill called "sand dam". I've seen guys with banshees and big bore quads with paddles, and various bikes that cant make it up the hill. I just roll up to the base near idle in 1st or 2nd gear, pin it up to 4th gear and ride it all the way up with my knobbies

Heres another pic of my 350x. Added some more candlepower for the desert night since my oem headlight bulbs burnt out anyway. Not sure I like how it turned out, though. (sticks out farther than I wanted).
