....1985..... When Yamaha, Honda, and Kawasaki all had real performers to put up.. 86 was a good year too, but 1985 was the first year they showed "the goods" so to speak..

1970 when Honda started selling the US90. Second place is 1985: The year the most models were on the market!!

agreed, best of the best had to put up or shut up, but possibly the first year i think 72' may have been the best

    1985:

Best years for the 250r, and Tecate.

    The Tri-Z debuted.

The new generation of Big Red came out

    The 350X hit the dirt.

    The 250SX hit the trails.

In short, Honda kicked serious ass in '85.
This is my trike. There are many like it but this one is mine. My trike is my best friend, and it is my life. I must master it as I must master myself. My trike without me is useless. Without my trike, I am useless. I must ride my trike true. My trike and I know that what counts is not the amount of miles we ride, but the time we ride together. My trike is human in it's own ways, therefore I will learn it as my brother. I will learn it's weaknesses, it's strengths, it's parts, and it's soul.

85 was a milestone, and probably the height of the ATC racing, but by 86, manufacturers really got things dialed in.

1986- Second gen 200X and Tecate came out and the 350X looked awesome with white fenders. Tri-Z got big improvements also.
