    clutch?

    hey guys my 85 200x is in need of a clutch it slips pretty bad now what is the best bang for my buck clutch and anything i shoul know about changing the clutch?

    Barnett dirt digger. A clutch holder tool, available at rockymountain atv will help hold the clutch basket when you torque the nut back down (28-36ft. Lbs.) This way you don't put stress on the transmission when you tighten it. Also, soak your friction plates in fresh oil (same oil you use in the bike) for 15 minutes prior to installation. Any other questions just ask.

    Oh and another trick for prolonged clutch life is to sandblast both sides of each steel plate. You can also use sandpaper to scuff the surfaces.
