extending my forks what size tubing??

i am gonna extend my forks on my 84 honda 200m because when i got it somebody had switched the whole front end to an unknown model and i have been piecing it back to stock parts including wheel tire hub and forks and today i figured out the tripple trees were switched too so to keep from spending anymore money on the front end im gonna extend it and widen them to what dimensions it should be what size metal tubing should i use to do this

i would'nt reccomend this. i dont believe the tubing you use will be strong enough. also widening the forks may cause the axle to be to short.. but thats me..

I would use 1 1/2 x23x7x 9x 6x 4 pipe and cut it to 3x6x8 x12x1/2 . for the first time I agree with 123456q. save your pennies and buy a front end. I'm sure it won't be that hard to find
