    185s Decompression Cable

Ok my cable works just fine I would just like to know if anybody knows what the end that isn't attached to the head is supposed to go to? Is it somewhere near the pull start? Mine wasn't hooked up when i bought it.

There should be a rubber grommet near the Pull Start which the cable end passes through and attaches to the pull start drum.

you might have a different year pull start that doesnt have part number 20 or 15 in diagram above or a top hole.

just take the cable off. plug up the top hole of the pull starter with tape ( stops dirt from getting in ) and disconnect the cable from the head. you can leave the lever on. it wont activate. most 185sand 200s are easy to pull start and don't need the compression release function. its supposed to make starting easier, but you be the judge

Yea I decided to just take it off and just lift the lever till it stays up by itself everytime I crank it.
