    1974 honda 90

Today I bought a 1974 Daytona Orange honda 90 for $10. It had been sitting in a barn for probably 15 years. It is all complete except that the rear fenders are broken and all the tires are flat. There is compression but it won't start, what should i do.

check for spark then if you have spark see if its getting feul. if it has been sitting that long(15 years) then the carb has to be taken off and cleaned because the gas is all gummed up inside clean the carb take the tank off rinse it out with new gas put fresh gas in throw a new plug in it and spray a little bit of quick starting fluid in the air filter and it should fire up. oh yeah change the oil in it too you dont need to to get it running but you should any way if its been sitting that long

If you dont have spark go right for the points they are mounted under that round cover on the left hand side of the head Im sure they are dirty from sitting , get the fuel system cleaned up and im sure it will run you cant kill an old ATC90 good luck
