1985 Tecate Front Disc Brake Cover

Does anyone know where to get (other than ebay or Amazon) the green front disc brake cover that this dude has? Also, does anyone know where to get (other than ebay or Amazon) any "in-stock" DC Plastics green tank covers for an '85 Tecate? Any help or guidance would be appreciated big-time. Thanks.

oh thats easy. just go to your kawi dealer they should have both in stock.LMAO! the only way to get this disc cover is used from ebay or a local sale. The last one I sold went for 125.00 used. the tank cover can be had from dc directly or used the same way as the disc cover. good luck!

The one in your picture isn't the one made for the 85 Tecate. The one in the picture is for a KX dirtbike. You can pick up the ones for the KX dirtbikes for cheap on Ebay if you don't want the real Tecate one.

Hey dcreel could you send me a link or two to some of the kx ones? I can't seem to find any. Is the one in your pic the real Tecate one or the other?

I have a Nos 85 Tecate disc/fork cover set in green, I'd be willing to trade it for a used 86/7 Tecate UFO fork/disc cover set or sell it if I find a UFO set. I also have a Nos green Tecate rear caliper cover, but I'm probably going to keep this one.

Those are cool, but are they for the kxt A1/A2(I know that the rear master cylinder on the 84/5's was on the outside of the frame and not the inside), Kxt B1/B2, or the 87/8 T4?

How is it supposed to mount?

They are for the 84-85 Tecate. The 3 holes are drilled through the bottom of the tunnel on the fender and fastened with the included nuts and bolts. The zip tie goes through the 2 close holes and goes around the master cylinder. It attaches just like the middle picture is oriented.

If I had used one it would have blocked part of the UFO airbox so I didn't use them.
