    piston compression ratios

ok so im thinking about a piston for my 200x and for the 12:1 i heard you need to run race fuel and for the 10.5:1 you dont i have a couple questions is the 10.5:1 alot better then stock? is the 12:1 alot better then the 10.5:1? and with the 12:1 could i run high octane pump gas with a little octane booster or is it strictly race fuel, because race fuel is quit expensive. SO , stock,10.5:1, or 12:1 any info appreaciated

i would go with 10.5 so you can run pump gas. it doesnt pay to go with 12:1 unless you are doing full motor work (cam, porting, big carb)and looking for max hp. the 10.5 will make a big difference especially if you have a pipe, K&N, and some jetting done.

10:5 is ok. 12:1 is a huge improvement, but yes you have to run race gas. You can try octane boost but I don't chance it. VP c-12 is what I run.
