85 honda 200x new exhaust question

hey just got a new DG full exhaust. It run good &idel's good on full and half choke but dies when put on no choke.

Plug is really black i have tryed stock 1.08 jet and raised the c clip & the air fuel mixture nothing is happening

so tryed 1.10 jet and air fuel mixture and left the c clip at the 4th grove and still no inprovement.

also tryed to run with no airbox lid nothing eather.

if anyone got a ideal on what u happening would be great Thanks

why is it running rich with new exhaust dont they run lean when you put a new aftermarket exhaust on the bike & not run rich ?. Do i have to jet to a smaller jet then a 1.08 main jet ?

It's not running rich, it's running lean. That why it runs when you leave the choke on (choke richens it up). Removing the airbox lid made it even worse (leaner). So did raising the clip. Everything you're doing is exactly opposite what you should be doing.

The pipe leaned it out. You need to richen it up; bigger main jet, lower the clip, etc.

on the 250sx there is an idle screw. does the 200x have one? just a suggestion
