    23.5 vs 24 ohtsu ??

What is the real difference in size, looks that is, between the OHTSU P/V 101 23.5X8X11 vs the 24X8X11 original front tire for the 86 350X 1986-87 200X. Does the 24 look "baloony" COMPARED TO THE 23.5? I know the Dunlop KT576 23" looks smaller and does it have the look of the 23.5?

Going by the nominal numbers only, of 23.5 & 24 it's going to add a 1/4" on both sides of the tire. I'm not sure if a 1/4" will make it look "baloony." Interested to see what others have to say that have seen them side by side.

Take a second and look at the tag...Is it Made in America? Do your best to make sure it is before you buy it.

The tire height has nothing to do with the width.... that's where the 8 comes in.... It will be the same size. Just, 1/4 taller.

me and tires just ain't getting along these days.

I put 5 tires with the exact same size numbers next to each other and they all look like different sizes.

Good idea to check and make sure they fit before you buy.
I have some 22" tires that are 24" tall and some 22" that are 18" tall.
and not because of odd wear patterns.

To be honest... the "originals" were 23.5 later they were 24 and to be honest, they look the same and unless you read it on the side, you can't notice a difference.

Thanks guys, that's what I figured and since we are on the subject, I just sent a email to Carlisle Tire asking them to reproduce this tire . It's a shot in the dark and it would not hurt to hit up these tire companies and just maybe one will be willing to go through with it. They would need to use the DUNLOP KT576 23" as a reference though.
