How do I replace bearings in a 1984 250r?

My 1984 250r needs some bearings bad so I bought an all balls kit for it plus chain and sprockets. I have everything off the axel aside from the disc brake hub and rear sprocket hub and I do not know how to remove them. I am only assuming that once I get those off I can then change the bearings?

So how do I replace the bearings? My manual isn't explaining it to well.

The sprocket hub is pressed onto the axle and doesnt come off unless you press it off.The brake hub will come off .What I do take a block of wood put it against the axle and drive it out with a big .To adjust the chain loosen the two allen bolts on the back of the swingarm and turn the axle hub till the chain is tight.

The brake disk hub is just splined so it ought to slide off. I'd take a big rubber and hit the end of the axle on the disk brake side to break the hub loose then the axle will slide out . When I put new axle bearings in I like to take the carrier out because it makes it easyier to press new bearing in. I put the carrier in the oven and heat it up and have the bearings in the freezer for at least 24 hours and they drop right in.

Any tips on how to put new bearings in instead of cooking my swingarm?

As odd as it sounds, putting the bearings in the freezer for 24 hours works beautiful.

If they don't just drop in, I 'gently' tap them in with a rubber mallet. If that won't get them in all the way, I've used a socket or pipe the same circumference as the bearing to tap it in.

Well I couldn't get the axle out so I am just going to put my new chain on just so my brother can ride my 250 for this weekend (no more than 3 or 4 hours ride time this weekend).

I actually got some tow raps and tried pulling the axle while I hit it on the other side and nothing. So I am just going to replace it next week.
