lets see this trike has been down more than up, after I seized it on its maiden trail ride last year, the top end is back on, all put together, hopefully this time it will last for more then a ride lol, anyways everyone wish me luck!

Dido on the good luck... I have an 81 250R also, it needs lots of work and moneyHow is your seat pan?
Use to have an 81r your making me miss it now! ha good luck!
it did live in az for the first 30 years of its life, now its living here in massachusetts, no rust.. and boy the condo complex hates me now lol ohwell as of next month I will have a 53 international to tote my trike around so I can make noise where I'm supposed to, not on the road lol....
Love my 81.Cant wait to here a ride report. As far as seatpans.a member ons sent in a seatpan to DCplastic and they now sell them.
cool! well heres a ride report took it up and down the road, did good, have to wait till june for NH atv tags to come up but working on setting up a ride, should be fun..
Did the piston have cooling holes where the exhaust bridge is? That's a hot spot in them foolers
a very common mod it to remove the exhaust bridge as it holds more heat then it does good and you get much better flow. my brother has an 81 r that i built for him and they are awesome bikes especially with a few mod to wake them up. they are much cheaper then the 85/86 r
The aircooled 250 doesnt have and exhaust bridge. The 300r and liquid r have the exhaust bridge .
