    oil leaking.. ahhh

So i found out my big red is leaking oil.. and also found out that one of the holes for the stator cover to bolt it down is stripped. what can i do to fix that? the only thing i can think is to re-tap it. also, the stator sover seems to have no gasket looks like forma gasket was used. Also, whats the best way to make sure a case is dry of oil, so it seals right?

    a 200?

Not sure how much torque you need to hold that cover down but I think locktite had some
strange stuff. Very strange. DON'T do this but here's what they say.
Fill the hole with their gloop. Put some release agent on the bolt and press/screw it into the gloop.
Let it sit and harden and then screw the bolt out.
I like retapping, maybe deeper if you can or wider if you have the room,
maybe coarse thread instead of fine?

    My last side cover?
I didn't even drain the oil,
I rolled the trike onto it's side so the side cover was parallel with the ground
and just cleaned it with brakeclean or similar.
Gaskets are nice but I've also c a r e fully put thin and I mean super thin, tapered to the outside
bead of silicone and let it dry completely, like a rubber band.
Then carefully torque the cover back on a little at a time.
