Confirmed 350X Aftermarket Exhaust Speculation - COBRA - SuperTrapp

I had read or heard somewhere that SuperTrapp and Cobra were in together in making 350X pipes at one time. I happened to come upon a sweet vintage 350X SuperTrapp exhaust that was a complete system like they use to be. I had a newer 2003? Cobra pipe on the machine so I took that one off. The header pipe were completely identical, except the SuperTrapp had little nuts welded onto it to directly mount your OEM heatshield. The diameters and bend of the 2 pipes were identical! SOOOoooo.... FYI.... if you buy a newer SuperTrapp that does not include the header pipe, go ahead and hook it up to a Cobra head pipe and you are back to the good ol'days!

I have a full Cobra System for my 350x. Its a 2 piece exhaust, header and silencer. I got it off of a parts bike I bought that had tons of aftermarket parts. I have never found another full Cobra system like it they must be pretty rare. I think the only header pipe still being made for a 350x is on the DG exhaust. Its a shame because I have a DG full system on my 86 350x and it sound kind of raspy sounding and the Cobra on my 85 350x sounds like Satan coming down the road! real deep,loud, and smooth!
