Cheaper than 30 bucks each is the off road 4wd suppliers.

    Easy?
I think they simply have to come apart to change the boots.
I NEED to do about 5 sets myself.
try the search key or the service manual. which you should be able to just click on.

You have to slip the top of the fork boots down past a through-bolt that pins the whole assembly together. If your boots are kinda old and stiff, warm them up with a hair drier. Once you get the to slip down an inch or two, the bolt will be visible that holds the lower parts to the upper parts. Remove the bolt and the lower legs will pull off of the fork tubes. Now you can swap the boots and put it all back together.

I went to the off road folks and they had cool boots for like 5 bucks each, guaranteed
but I left the measurements at home.

these forks are wicked hard to find because the parts to rebuild them are discontinued and they are always bad. they are the same for 82-83 200E and 84 200ES. i just found some for mine on ebay...after looking and looking for 6 months or so.
