    Kimber 1911 & Bushmaster AR15 purchase

I picked up my NJ permits last Thursday. It took 11 weeks to process. I put in for 2 pistol permits and Firearms ID card. In Nj you can only buy 1 pistol a month.

Went to PA to shop & found out that PA won't sell to me, because they have fun guns and NJ you can't own anything fun. Not dissing on PA.

I ended up at a local shop and bought a new Kimber 1911 Eclips Target II & Bushmaster A3 M4. I bought .223 rounds to get that "Lets shoot everything i see out of my system". Have not been out yet looking at this Friday to shoot. Took the day off of work.

Next pistol maybe a 9mm because it's cheap & simple.

No pics. My cell takes the worst pictures!!!

When I bought my first 1911 a few months ago, it came down to 2 choices... The Kimber Eclipse (dead sexy piece I might add) and the S&W 1911 Stainless E-Series with tactical rail. Ended up going with the Smith as I am a major S&W nut. But I believe my next 1911 will be the Eclipse, when ever I can get the next gun kitchen pass validated!

    Eclipse is a beautiful piece!

I have a bushy M4... Sweet little machine, could use a lighter trigger, and a better shooter, (ie: me) but love it none the less...
No trikes. Too old, too crippled. Unless I find one I can't live without!

Kimber makes a fantastic 1911. I have a Tactical Pro II in 9mm which I love.

The only thing that took me getting used to is field stripping it, with the full length guide rod Kimber uses as I was used to the short GI style rods....after spending about 20 minutes looking at youtube videos I got it down.
