    my new toy

    I have been looking for a lathe for a while without much luck of finding what I wanted used. then I stumbled upon this little gem a couple days ago.It was exactly what I was looking for at a price I could not pass up. for the lathe,stand and a bunch of tooling I gave 200.00 for itClick image for larger version.

    haha I made the spot the night before I picked it up. The blast cabinet waS tuned the other way right next to the compressor.I dont have much room so I gotta do the best with what I have

    very nice man! i would love to come across something that size at that price!! now start turning out some plastic swinger bushings would ya!! lol

    he gave me a bunch of pastic stock also but I dont think it big enough to turn them bushings . it's only 1 1/4x 1. send me a set and I will get them going you get the first set free for for r&d.

    Wouldn't Delrin be a better material for that bushing? I know its pricey but just a question!!

    what is Delrin? excuse my ignorance,I have never heard of it.BTW I am a carpenter not a machinest

    Sweet score there Ben. Ive been pondering the idea of getting into some machine work as well but like you I am a carpenter so kinda foreign to me but interesting.

    probably the product I have. I made some bushings for my bw swingarm. I guess I will see how they hold up

    Check out themetalmerchant on ebay, he sells mostly drops at a good price.
