Well my good fortune is my location..

In Michigan they show up on CL fairly frequently and the prices are low..then I bring them back to Canada to fix-up as needed and sell because the price here is much higher.

I've taken the time to figure out the importing process and it works for me.

I hope to sell the Yamaha to cover my cost, then add the SX to my collection permanently..

I think we are going to have to ban people from Sarnia coming over and buying all our trikes. lol How is the currency exchange now? Years ago it was all in our favor when I used to fishing up to Chapleau.

I just look at it as contributing to the Michigan economy. People are selling anything they can to make rent cause it's still pretty tough in SE Michigan. I show up and give seller asking price/close to asking price..we both win.

I think this will be a good summer for deals like these.

Dollar is virtually at par..$1500US cost me $1522 so not so much in the favour of the Americans to come to Canada like it was in years past.

    Opps I found another..

    1985 Yamaha 225DR is good running order, plus a 1984 225DX parts machine(not shown) for a total of $550.

Another good days catch thanks to CL in Michigan.

Now the decision as to which machine to flip and which to make permanent pack members? I'm kinda leaning toward the 225DR because the black is just so unique and sexy.

Do you plan to part out the 84 or get rid of it as?
