    Theres a new P3 in the 3WW community, and Yes it will be @ TRIKEFEST 2012

    Yesterday guys, I took a drive to Farmington, CT with the girlfriend and 2 yr old in the truck to go pick up my new to me 1986 Polaris Scrambler 250R/ES. I found this here on 3ww and since it was only a short 2.5 hr drive, I had to have it.

    So load up and roll out of the house @ 7:38 yesterday morning, and proceed to drive to Farmington to meet Thehoytster to pick up my new toy. Rich is a stand up guy and actually took a short drive to meet me at a mall to drop off the machine. Rich has had the machine for a year and took tremendous care of this machine, while also doing the dreaded starter replacement on this P3. Thank you very much Rich!

    Here are some pics of the Scrambler from today since I took the day yesterday to go on a road trip to see some of my girlfriend's family and to meet her dad!! WooHoo 2 major milestones in 1 day. Meet the girl's father and pick up a rare P3! I drove 350 miles yesterday and was gone from home exactly 13 hrs yesterday.

    Sweet ride.I havent seen one of those since 1986 when I test drove one and the quad version at the Polaris Dealership near me. I wanted one but I had just pick up a 85 250r a month prior and still had my 84 200x.

    I was 1 phone call away from one these a few weeks ago. just 2 hrs too late. I was on standby, but 1st guy that called him took it. Nowhere near as nice as this one though! Nice addition!

    Hey just a fyi.. check the rear motor mount.. mine broke and the motor shited, when it did that the front clutch cover mount broke from the frame as well. That allowed the inner cover to touch the primary, it ground all the way thru pretty quickly. Howdy said he has 2 that had the same problem, not sure how comon it is but check it out..
