Got fire, got compression, got fuel? Sorry for being broad, but there's nothing much to go by.

    non-running 200x

fisrt try pulling the plug to see if it is fouled. second- while the plug is out - check to see if there is any spark. If no spark then you may need to clean/replace the points. Could even be a dead cdi/coil.
If you do have spark and the plug looks good, then you may need to clean your carburetor.. Sounds like it may be a dirty or clogged jet.

    Hope this helps..

If it was running okay, and you shut it off, and now it wont start, its very unlikely its a timing problem. First thing to try is put a new plug in it.

sometimes a plug looks good when you're checking for fire but just doesn't work. change the plug, it's only a buck or so

i did before it stoped starting. it just semmes like it is somethin with the kick start. because it will almost start when pushing it. and it seems easier to kick. it grips a little it gets some compression. is there any way that the kickstarter shaft could be worn out?

if someone forgot to put the bolt in the cdi, it could be a timing problem, or if it jumped a tooth or something....i doubt its electrical if it has spark. and the kickstarter isnt very likely to be the reason unless it is slipping.....if its catching it should turn over. could be a weak cdi, ignition coil. let me know

You can foul out a brand new plug in about 15 seconds under the right (wrong) conditions. Its your money, and you can replace things in whatever order you choose, but the plug is about $3 and if thats not the problem, youll just end up with a spare and be about $3 lighter.
