    ghost welder

    if you can't run a straight weld bead ,,,DO NOT BLAME THE WELDER .. the guys in the shop ran off behind my back while welding. i turned around and the rod was burning by itself on the table... funny thing is i don't think they can weld as good as the welder by itself,,, last week i took all the welding hoods and put a piece of black paper in all of them at lunch time... i think it was pay back time... heres what the welder did by itself.. and a video i was shooting at the time...

    Wow!Who says those old Ideal Arcs aren't any good.All along it's been the guy doing the welding not the machine.you should send the video to Lincoln.Maybe not there would be a lot of us welders out of job,including myself!

    Bill, If you think about it, the lead was at balance on the table. Table is grounded, So the rod is only going too use what it can. which would leave a straight line!!
